As per recommendation from the national SKA organization, the Chapel Hill Shotokan Karate Dojo has suspended dojo practices until at least March 31 in response to the COVID-19 outbreak. Also, Duke School, our dojo’s host, temporarily closed at the end of March 13, which includes closure of its buildings and gyms outside of school hours. We will update here once we are able and sufficiently safe to re-establish a practice schedule.
Regular classes take place at the following time:
- Monday (adults only) & Wednesday evenings 7:00 to 8:30 PM
- Saturday mornings 8 to 9:30 AM
All classes are held at the Lower School Gym, Duke School (3716 Erwin Road, Durham, NC 27705). Turn into the main entrance and then right at the first driveway (often partially closed with a gate). Park in the gravel area just past the building to your right.
